Will We Be Seeing A Totally Different iOS This Year?

Apple’s mobile operating program is arguably the most lovely you’ll see in the market place nowadays, and I only say arguably since beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Looking at issues from an unbiased point of view, one can not ignore the reality that, as aesthetically pleasing iOS could be, the platform is far from best. (We’re nevertheless dealing with the safety flaw allowing any individual to bypass your iPhone’s password lock)

That being said, the rumor mill is on overdrive. Apple’s going to make an iWatch. (It’s about time, fanboys say.) Apple’s going to ultimately wow us with the Apple Tv. Apple’s doing this. Apple’s performing that.

Of course, iOS has not escaped unscathed. Analysts and skilled members of the rumor mill have been mulling more than the possibility â€" some would favor to use the word probability â€" of Apple providing iOS a major overhaul. AppleInsider reports the analysis of Peter Misek about a new iOS:

We think Apple plans to re-architect iOS to use a lot more cores and better compete with Samsung. Also, we think the way iOS interoperates with iCloud, gestures controls, and marketing will be substantially upgraded.

The Jeffries analyst did have a lot far more to say about what Apple is going to do this year, but do we have anything concrete to base this “new iOS change theory” on?

Exactly where there’s smoke…

We all know how that saying goes, and frequently, it is true. It doesn’t usually mean that the fire you are expecting is what you discover!

We do have to take into account some information, even though. Remember when Scott Forstall was fired late last year? He’s the father of iOS. With him out of the picture, and with his departure not specifically becoming beneath the very best of situations, isn’t it entirely possible that Apple’s going to do something drastic with iOS? There’s also the truth that Jony Ive is now the head of the Human Interface Group.

Whether or not or not Misek is right, we’ll locate out soon enough, but even even though I believe there’s merit to the saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, I wouldn’t thoughts a new iOS to wow me. You?
